“Convergence” (Sleep Orchestra & Nohltanon) was released on the 24th June 2022.

“The album has been a long work-in-progress that has some samples and recordings dating way back to 2014 from an America/Canada trip”, SO says, “its pushed my boundaries and expanded my ideas of where I can take inspiration from”.

The album has leanings to dark ambient, neo-classical and experimental minimalism as usual, but this time brings in new elements taken from jazz, rock (in particular industrial) and electronica expanding the overall sonic picture of this release.

2022 marks the entrance of the first album release on Sleep Orchestra’s own net-label too, Destination-Zero. The label is fledgling at this stage, but is the home of all future SO releases.
